Theo Machado tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Peru booed when Λstral Villains FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. Zhang Yue Shi didn't get a good kick on the ball. Theo Machado showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Julian Murillo in the 11th minute of the match. Theo Machado made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eliseo Mina in the 14th minute of play. 15 minutes had been played when some careless play by Λstral Villains FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Luz Tejedor was slow to take the kick. During this time Peru's players had a chance to rest. The corner led Peru's Luz Tejedor to fire away a dangerous shot which Theo Machado despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Peru's Luz Tejedor got a good chance for a goal in the 16th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Julian Murillo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 19th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 25 minutes into the match, Λstral Villains FC's goal looked a bit too open when Eliseo Mina came free, but Theo Machado reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 27th minute of the match Peru got a corner. Λstral Villains FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Luz Tejedor ran over to the corner to take the kick. In the 31st minute, Emil Berntzen reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Rolando Noboa. The goal made the score 1-0. Ahmad Okhumeode Krychowiak made in the 36th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Emil Berntzen immediately put the ball in play. 38 minutes into the match, Λstral Villains FC's goal looked a bit too open when Eliseo Mina came free, but Theo Machado reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some careless play in the Λstral Villains FC defense, Luz Tejedor kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Theo Machado. The Λstral Villains FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Theo Machado should have stopped the shot. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Emil Berntzen stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the match, Λstral Villains FC's goalkeeper Theo Machado had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Julian Murillo. 53 minutes into the match, Peru's goal looked a bit too open when Anderson Zonta came free, but Rolando Noboa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Anderson Zonta scored 2-1 in the 55th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Rolando Noboa, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Peru's Rolando Noboa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Emil Berntzen in the 59th minute of play. Rolando Noboa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Emil Berntzen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 64 minutes of play, Λstral Villains FC's Emil Berntzen made it 3-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Rolando Noboa was left in no man's land by his defense there! 67 minutes into the match, Λstral Villains FC's goal looked a bit too open when Julian Murillo came free, but Theo Machado reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Λstral Villains FC made a substitution. Lars Holand replaced Emil Berntzen. Theo Machado made an important save on a dangerous shot by Julian Murillo in the 76th minute. After 79 played minutes Peru got a freekick which was hit by Julian Murillo. Peru made a substitution. Antonio Tenorio replaced Luz Tejedor. Peru made a substitution. Peru's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because Λstral Villains FC had won, even though Peru had held more of the ball.
