After 5 minutes of play, FK Dampsaga's Gunnar Dyrstad made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Gilbert Podolski was left in no man's land by his defense there! An unexpectedly hard shot by Ryszard Pilipiec in the 8th minute of play forced FK Dampsaga's goalkeeper Bakezda Mann to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Haluk Pamir received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Gilbert Podolski tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ryszard Pilipiec to make the kick off. In the 56th minute Morten Førland shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gilbert Podolski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 59 minutes had been played when some careless play by Pogoń Stawiszyn's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Robert Sandberg was slow to take the kick. During this time FK Dampsaga's players had a chance to rest. After taking down the ball on FK Dampsaga's corner Robert Sandberg fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Gilbert Podolski quite easily take care of the ball. Gilbert Podolski came out of the goal and Morten Førland tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Gilbert Podolski stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gunnar Dyrstad's shot from short distance in the 89th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gunnar Dyrstad in the 92nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Gilbert Podolski prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 93rd minute FK Dampsaga were awarded a corner. Robert Sandberg went to the cornerflag to take it. A well done corner resulted in Juan Pablo Fretheim drilling the ball in to score 0-6 behind Pogoń Stawiszyn's goalkeeper. FK Dampsaga's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
