Hulk Hugan was left in no man's land by his defense there! Nutridal F.C.'s Faustino Villahoz got a good chance for a goal in the 38th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 40 played minutes Nutridal F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Dominguez Artaza. Nutridal F.C.'s Hulk Hugan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Zorita in the 41st minute of play. In the 44thth minute of the game Kaapo Stein who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ecuador's Julio Vera was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Hulk Hugan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Daniel Zorita in the 47th minute of the match. The Nutridal F.C. players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Ecuador were winning 0-4.

Nutridal F.C.'s David Isla was substituted for Philibert Bouty. Daniel Zorita could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 72nd minute of the match, but Hulk Hugan made a huge save. In the 73rd minute of the match Ecuador got a corner. Nutridal F.C.'s goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Daniel Zorita ran over to the corner to take the kick. After taking down the ball on Ecuador's corner Daniel Zorita fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Hulk Hugan quite easily take care of the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cristian Sancho got free with Hulk Hugan in the 76th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The supporters of Ecuador booed when Nutridal F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. Juan-Pablo Bevia didn't get a good kick on the ball.
