FC Hans's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Dan Waller in the 16th minute. FC Hans's Dan Waller was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Tuste Villanueva in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. In the 18th minute, Viorel Moldovan got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Tuste Villanueva made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Viorel Moldovan in the 22nd minute of play. Viorel Moldovan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. FC Hans's supporters crossed their fingers, but Viorel Moldovan was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Sant Bartolomeu FC's Gilen Villanueva was substituted for Daniel Molina. Timmy Kjellkvist made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Quique Etxeberria in the 66th minute of play. In the 69th match minute, Sant Bartolomeu FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Adamantios Tziolis to maneuver through the defense. Tuste Villanueva showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Xiao Wei Yan, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. Gilen Villanueva's late challenge caught a FC Hans's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Gilen Villanueva helped the player get up and apologised. After 81 played minutes Sant Bartolomeu FC got a freekick which was hit by Gilen Villanueva. If Xiao Wei Yan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After a defensive mix-up in Sant Bartolomeu FC's zone, Fabinho Tinoco stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tuste Villanueva came out of the goal and Fabinho Tinoco tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The corner first didn't look so dangerous but when Nico Everts got the ball he succeeded in some way to get through the defenders to deliver a very hard score. Result 2-1. 86 minutes into the match. In the 94th minute, Sant Bartolomeu FC's Humberto Figueres ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Timmy Kjellkvist. Timmy Kjellkvist yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-2. The score was 2-2 after 90 minutes, which forced the match into extra-time.

The players didn't get much rest, but they still tried to pep each other up as they lined up for the first half in overtime. Sant Bartolomeu FC's Humberto Figueres started the play with his kick off. Hugo Guillamon hit a great freekick 101 minutes into the match. Tuste Villanueva showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Xiao Wei Yan, who was totally free with the ball in the 102nd minute. The FC Hans players wondered just what they needed to do win this one. 105 minutes had now been played and the teams were still tied. Penalties were starting to look likely.

The players still looked rather fresh even though it was time for second half of the overtime. Ulf Arvidsson did a quick kick off. Quique Etxeberria stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Timmy Kjellkvist. 3-5. In the 141st minute there was a penalty for FC Hans. Timmy Kjellkvist stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Tuste Villanueva. 4-5. Sant Bartolomeu FC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
