In the 3rd minute, Gino Nunes made a precise shot to the right of Geovanni Hoffmann. Cascatinha United's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. After having played for 6 minutes, Gino Nunes managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Clube Paulista da Mooca's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gino Nunes was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 11 minutes into the match, Cascatinha United's goal looked a bit too open when Gino Nunes came free, but Geovanni Hoffmann reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 13 minutes had been played when some careless play by Cascatinha United's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Haroldo Almeida was slow to take the kick. During this time Clube Paulista da Mooca's players had a chance to rest. After taking down the ball on Clube Paulista da Mooca's corner Haroldo Almeida fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Geovanni Hoffmann quite easily take care of the ball. When Téo Leite fell near the penalty area in the 17th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Cascatinha United's protests and gave Téo Leite a yellow card for diving instead. In the 20th minute of the match Clube Paulista da Mooca got a corner. Cascatinha United's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Haroldo Almeida ran over to the corner to take the kick. A nice corner shot did that Haroldo Almeida got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Geovanni Hoffmann quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Doni Prado in the 21st minute of play forced Cascatinha United's goalkeeper Geovanni Hoffmann to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Silvio Birjaio's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Geovanni Hoffmann read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 29th minute of play. Gino Nunes recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 30th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Silvio Birjaio might have been able to make a better finish in the 36th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Geovanni Hoffmann. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Silvio Birjaio ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 37th match minute, Cascatinha United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Armando Tróia to maneuver through the defense. If Haroldo Almeida had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 42 minutes into the game, Clube Paulista da Mooca's Gino Nunes nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Geovanni Hoffmann made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. When Silvio Birjaio came up free with the goalie in the 45th minute, the Clube Paulista da Mooca fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Silvio Birjaio couldn't finish the play. The Cascatinha United players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Clube Paulista da Mooca were winning 0-3.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Silvio Birjaio was the one to do the kick off. 53 minutes into the game, Osvaldo Bernebe threw the ball into play from the sideline. Clube Paulista da Mooca's Omar Cordarrel quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Omar Cordarrel hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. In the 64th minute, Silvio Birjaio fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Geovanni Hoffmann, passed just outside the right post. After 68 minutes Cascatinha United's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Haroldo Almeida who took care of the corner kick. A very nice done corner allowed Silvio Birjaio to score against Geovanni Hoffmann in Cascatinha United's goal. 0-4 after 69 minutes. Doni Prado hit a great freekick 75 minutes into the match. In the 77th minute, Clube Paulista da Mooca's Silvio Birjaio ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Geovanni Hoffmann. Geovanni Hoffmann yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-5. In the 82nd minute, Doni Prado reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Geovanni Hoffmann. The goal made the score 0-6. 90 minutes into the match, Cascatinha United's goalkeeper Geovanni Hoffmann had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gino Nunes. Clube Paulista da Mooca played a much better game than Cascatinha United and deserved their victory. The Cascatinha United players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
