A collision led to JEC - FC getting a freekick after 3 minutes play. Luisinho Ribeiro hit a great ball. 8 minutes into the match, 27 de Mayo's goal looked a bit too open when Braulio Toli came free, but Raí Bertassi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Raí Bertassi was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Julio Baptista showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 10 minute of play. In the 20th minute Tarcisio Galvão shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Raí Bertassi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Braulio Toli received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Raí Bertassi came out and tried to block the shot, but Braulio Toli slotted it home off the left post making it 2-0 in the 21st minute. Raí Bertassi didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Tarcisio Galvão went, in the 25th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. Dedê de Senna's late challenge caught a JEC - FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Dedê de Senna helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, 27 de Mayo's Dedê de Senna got a free kick in the 28th minute. 27 de Mayo's Raí Bertassi proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 29th minute of the match, managed to save 27 de Mayo from getting a goal against them. The audience thought a goal was coming when Tarcisio Galvão got free with Raí Bertassi in the 34th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With a little luck, 27 de Mayo's Raí Bertassi got control of the ball when Tarcisio Galvão tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 35th minute the ball was on its way in behind 27 de Mayo's goalkeeper Raí Bertassi, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Carlos Ramos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luiz Fabiano Albuquerque in the 39th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dedê de Senna in the 41st minute of play forced JEC - FC's goalkeeper Carlos Ramos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Af the end of the first half the score was 4-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The wind increased when Braulio Toli made the kick off in the second half. 27 de Mayo's Raí Bertassi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Julio Baptista in the 53rd minute of play. 55 minutes into the match, 27 de Mayo's goal looked a bit too open when Julio Baptista came free, but Raí Bertassi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Raí Bertassi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Braulio Toli in the 56th minute of the match. In the 58th minute Julio Baptista shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Raí Bertassi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Raí Bertassi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tarcisio Galvão, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Tarcisio Galvão took the ball and in the 66 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Raí Bertassi. Raí Bertassi dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-0. Carlos Ramos made a fantastic save in the 72nd minute, when Luiz Fabiano Albuquerque sent off a good shot on target. If Braulio Toli had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Raí Bertassi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ricardinho Maia in the 80th minute of the match. 81 minutes into the match, 27 de Mayo's goal looked a bit too open when Braulio Toli came free, but Raí Bertassi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 88th minute Tarcisio Galvão shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Raí Bertassi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 91 minutes into the match, JEC - FC's Braulio Toli sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Raí Bertassi narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When the referee ended the match the JEC - FC players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
