Raí Bertassi didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Talha İstanbul went, in the 6th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. In the 9th minute, Talha İstanbul ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Raí Bertassi was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. In the 13th minute, Vito Leite made a precise shot to the right of Raí Bertassi. 27 de Mayo's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. 16 minutes into the game, Cöpacabana FC's Talha İstanbul nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Raí Bertassi made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-4. 19 minutes into the match, Dobromir Brudnicki notched a goal, 0-5, to the right of 27 de Mayo's Raí Bertassi. Raí Bertassi was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Harald Boman hit a great ball. 34 minutes into the match, 27 de Mayo's goal looked a bit too open when Dobromir Brudnicki came free, but Raí Bertassi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 35 minutes into the game, Cöpacabana FC's Talha İstanbul nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Talha İstanbul sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After the first half Cöpacabana FC were leading 0-9. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Raí Bertassi was a little too slow when Talha İstanbul got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 53rd minute. The score was now 0-10. In the 55th minute, Dobromir Brudnicki made a precise shot to the right of Raí Bertassi. 27 de Mayo's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-11. With a little luck, 27 de Mayo's Raí Bertassi got control of the ball when Talha İstanbul tried to sneak it across the goal line. Raí Bertassi was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Dobromir Brudnicki showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-12 in the 60 minute of play. With a little luck, 27 de Mayo's Raí Bertassi got control of the ball when Vito Leite tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 66th minute of the match, Talha İstanbul tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Raí Bertassi saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. 66 minutes into the game, Adhemar Furlan was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. 27 de Mayo's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Cöpacabana FC the free kick. Raí Bertassi stood somewhat misplaced when Stig-Åke Benet came free in front of goal and shot 0-14 to the left of him in the 76 minute. Raí Bertassi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dobromir Brudnicki, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 81 minutes into the match, 27 de Mayo's goal looked a bit too open when Dobromir Brudnicki came free, but Raí Bertassi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Raí Bertassi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dobromir Brudnicki, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. Dobromir Brudnicki took the ball and in the 83 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Raí Bertassi. Raí Bertassi dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-15. Talha İstanbul recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 86th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Stig-Åke Benet got free with Raí Bertassi in the 88th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 96th minute, Dobromir Brudnicki reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Raí Bertassi. The goal made the score 0-17. When the match was over Cöpacabana FC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than 27 de Mayo throughout the match.
