Dino Varela made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marcos Vilas Boas in the 6th minute of play forced AD Oeiras's goalkeeper Dino Varela to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 7 minutes into the game, Oswaldo Corrêa was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. AD Oeiras's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Straedelburgh the free kick. The supporters of Straedelburgh booed when AD Oeiras was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 7 match minutes in a wonderful position. Oswaldo Corrêa didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the match had gone on for 10 minutes, Richard Pinheiro put it in 0-2 from a short distance just to the right of Dino Varela. Dino Varela didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Richard Pinheiro went, in the 12th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. Dino Varela showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marcos Vilas Boas in the 17th minute of the match. 19 minutes into the game, Straedelburgh's Marcos Vilas Boas nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Dino Varela made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-4. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Marcos Vilas Boas in the 23rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Dino Varela saved AD Oeiras from getting behind. Marcos Vilas Boas scored 0-5 in the 23rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Dino Varela, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Dino Varela didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Marcos Vilas Boas went, in the 27th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-6 was the resulting score. 31 minutes into the match, Sílvio Ferrão had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Dino Varela. AD Oeiras's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Sílvio Ferrão was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-7. Dino Varela took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Karl-Michael Helström, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Marcos Vilas Boas in the 35th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Dino Varela prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 36th minute, Marcos Vilas Boas ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Dino Varela was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-8. Dino Varela showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marcos Vilas Boas in the 39th minute of the match. 43 minutes into the game, Sílvio Ferrão cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-9. Dino Varela was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. A collision led to AD Oeiras getting a freekick after 47 minutes play. Erivaldo Diniz hit a great ball. In the 49th match minute, AD Oeiras was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Erivaldo Diniz to maneuver through the defense. Caco Araújo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 50th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-9 lead.

Dino Varela made a fantastic save in the 55th minute, when Richard Pinheiro sent off a good shot on target. 58 minutes into the match, Sílvio Ferrão had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Dino Varela. AD Oeiras's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Sílvio Ferrão was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-11. Straedelburgh's Tomé Cerezo was substituted for Lluciano Zafrilla. AD Oeiras's Ademar Alves was substituted for Oswaldo Corrêa. AD Oeiras's Dino Varela played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dennis Di Federico in the 63rd minute of play. Dino Varela didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Dennis Di Federico went, in the 67th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-12 was the resulting score. With his leg Dino Varela managed to avoid a goal in the 70thth minute, when Straedelburgh's Dennis Di Federico fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Dino Varela made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dennis Di Federico in the 71st minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Dennis Di Federico in the 79th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Dino Varela prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Karl-Michael Helström had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Dino Varela made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dennis Di Federico in the 83rd minute of play. In the 84thth minute of the game Dennis Di Federico who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but AD Oeiras's Dino Varela was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When the match clock showed 88 minutes, the score became 0-16 when Dennis Di Federico sped through AD Oeiras's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Dino Varela. After a defensive mix-up in AD Oeiras's zone, Tomé Cerezo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dino Varela came out of the goal and Tomé Cerezo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Through an outstanding action, after 96 minutes, Dino Varela successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Dino Varela stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Santos Txaran's shot from short distance in the 98th minute. Straedelburgh's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
