Dino Varela made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. 15 minutes into the game, Ricardinho Dantas cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-4. Dino Varela was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. A throw-in in the 19th minute of the game was made by Alessandro de Senna with Washington Machado as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. Dino Varela took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ricardinho Dantas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ricardinho Dantas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Dino Varela tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ricardinho Dantas scored 0-5 in the 24th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Dino Varela, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 27th minute, Ricardinho Dantas made a precise shot to the right of Dino Varela. AD Oeiras's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-6. 31 minutes into the game, Ricardinho Dantas cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-7. Dino Varela was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Dino Varela showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ricardinho Dantas, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. Colombo A.C.'s Şehzade Faydalı quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Alessandro de Senna, made in the 38th minute of the game. In the 38th minute of the match Şehzade Faydalı shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Dino Varela showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 40th minute, Ricardinho Dantas ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Dino Varela was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-8. Dino Varela came out of the goal in the 45th minute to try and stop a shot by Colombo A.C.'s Ricardinho Dantas. But to his dismay, Ricardinho Dantas quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-9. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-9 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Washington Machado was the one to do the kick off. In the 52nd minute of the game Emerson Moura made a throw-in which Washington Machado played forward. 54 minutes into the game, Ricardinho Dantas cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-10. Dino Varela was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. When the match had gone on for 58 minutes, Ricardinho Dantas put it in 0-11 from a short distance just to the right of Dino Varela. Ricardinho Dantas took the ball and in the 63 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Dino Varela. Dino Varela dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-12. Colombo A.C.'s Aitor Cintron was substituted for Lauro Neiva. AD Oeiras's Dino Varela proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 69th minute of the match, managed to save AD Oeiras from getting a goal against them. In the 72nd minute, Ricardinho Dantas left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Colombo A.C. fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-13. In the 75th minute, Ricardinho Dantas made a precise shot to the right of Dino Varela. AD Oeiras's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-14. The supporters of Colombo A.C. booed when AD Oeiras was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 82 match minutes in a wonderful position. Maurinho Loureiro didn't get a good kick on the ball. Dino Varela made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ricardinho Dantas in the 83rd minute. 85 minutes into the match, AD Oeiras's goal looked a bit too open when Ricardinho Dantas came free, but Dino Varela reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a little luck, AD Oeiras's Dino Varela got control of the ball when Ricardinho Dantas tried to sneak it across the goal line. Ricardinho Dantas could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 88th minute of the match, but Dino Varela made a huge save. In the 89th minute, Aitor Cintron reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Dino Varela. The goal made the score 0-16. When the match clock showed 97 minutes, the score became 0-17 when Ricardinho Dantas sped through AD Oeiras's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Dino Varela. The AD Oeiras fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Colombo A.C. were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
