The supporters of Ique Football Club booed when Pendotiba was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 2 match minutes in a wonderful position. Elivélton Barbosa didn't get a good kick on the ball. Kuno Heiberg didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Aloísio da Costa went, in the 3rd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. In the 6th minute of the match, Aloísio da Costa got a very nice opportunity to score, but Kuno Heiberg was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. When Cristian Hoffmann fell near the penalty area in the 9th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Pendotiba's protests and gave Cristian Hoffmann a yellow card for diving instead. In the 14th minute Honrio Carretero shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kuno Heiberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Aírton Alagoano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dé Andrade having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Pendotiba's Allan Arruda got a free kick in the 21st minute. Kuno Heiberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Honrio Carretero, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 28 minutes into the match, Pendotiba's goalkeeper Kuno Heiberg had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Paulo José. Kuno Heiberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Honrio Carretero in the 31st minute of play. With a little luck, Pendotiba's Kuno Heiberg got control of the ball when Aloísio da Costa tried to sneak it across the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ricardinho Trigo in the 37th minute of play forced Ique Football Club's goalkeeper Dé Andrade to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 39 played minutes Pendotiba got a freekick which was hit by Allan Arruda. A collision led to Ique Football Club getting a freekick after 41 minutes play. Aloísio da Costa hit a great ball. If Aírton Alagoano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Aírton Alagoano made a kick off. In the 53rd minute of the match Tibor Hegyi sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Kuno Heiberg skillfully saved the ball. Kuno Heiberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aloísio da Costa in the 59th minute of the match. Honrio Carretero received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Kuno Heiberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aloísio da Costa in the 67th minute of play forced Pendotiba's goalkeeper Kuno Heiberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some careless play in the Pendotiba defense, Aloísio da Costa kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Kuno Heiberg. The Pendotiba fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Kuno Heiberg should have stopped the shot. Ique Football Club's Yaseen Bo Hamad was substituted for Aloísio da Costa. Ique Football Club's Denílson Paulista was substituted for Paulo José. After a rather tough play, Pendotiba's Valdo da Costa got a free kick in the 86th minute. 89 minutes into the match, Pendotiba's goal looked a bit too open when Yaseen Bo Hamad came free, but Kuno Heiberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Kuno Heiberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Yaseen Bo Hamad in the 94th minute of play. When Ique Football Club's Yaseen Bo Hamad in the 96th minute got a chance for a shot 96th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Pendotiba's goalie prevented a goal.
