Claudinho Arruda came out of the goal and Pastor Baraquiel tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Alfredão Messias received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Kuno Heiberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Pendotiba's Ricardinho Trigo got a free kick in the 43rd minute. 49 minutes had been played when some careless play by AD Oeiras's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. The corner ended in Ricardinho Trigo almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but AD Oeiras's Claudinho Arruda did a great save. After the first half Pendotiba were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Pastor Baraquiel struck a weak shot in the 89th minute. Claudinho Arruda didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Pendotiba. In the 92nd minute, Wilian Lopez hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Although AD Oeiras had been in control for most of the match, Pendotiba still came away with the win.
