The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 6 minutes into the match, Ricardinho Dantas had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Dé Andrade. Ique Football Club's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ricardinho Dantas was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Ali Nejat Özertem took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Honrio Carretero, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Dé Andrade made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ricardinho Dantas in the 15th minute of play. In the 16th match minute, Ique Football Club was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nixon Richards to maneuver through the defense. 17 minutes into the match, Ricardinho Dantas notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Ique Football Club's Dé Andrade. Dé Andrade was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 21st minute Ique Football Club were awarded a corner. Conrado de Salles went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner ended in Conrado de Salles almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Colombo A.C.'s Ali Nejat Özertem did a great save. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Honrio Carretero in the 24th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ali Nejat Özertem saved Colombo A.C. from getting behind. Dé Andrade took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ricardinho Dantas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Maksymilian Polkoski hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. Ali Nejat Özertem made an important save on a dangerous shot by Aloísio da Costa in the 34th minute. Ali Nejat Özertem made a fantastic save in the 36th minute, when Aloísio da Costa sent off a good shot on target. In the 38th minute of the match Ique Football Club got a corner. Colombo A.C.'s goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Conrado de Salles ran over to the corner to take the kick. A nice corner shot did that Conrado de Salles got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Ali Nejat Özertem quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. After 39 played minutes Ique Football Club got a freekick which was hit by Célio Lira. Ali Nejat Özertem took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aloísio da Costa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The Ique Football Club players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Colombo A.C. were winning 0-2.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ricardinho Dantas to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute Paulo José shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ali Nejat Özertem saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 77th minute of the match, Michal Burufski tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Dé Andrade saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Dé Andrade showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Michal Burufski in the 89th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Yaseen Bo Hamad in the 92nd minute of play forced Colombo A.C.'s goalkeeper Ali Nejat Özertem to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 93 minutes into the game, Ique Football Club's Honrio Carretero nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ali Nejat Özertem made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-2. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
