When the match had gone on for 22 minutes, Manfredo Travassos took a quick shot and it went in 3-0 without a chance for Emiliano Urbilla to make any attempt to save it. Emiliano Urbilla made a fantastic save in the 26th minute, when Bernardinho Leão sent off a good shot on target. Emiliano Urbilla made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-0. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Manfredo Travassos in the 37th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Emiliano Urbilla saved LUSINHA from getting behind. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Manfredo Travassos in the 38th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Emiliano Urbilla prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 39 minutes had been played when some careless play by LUSINHA's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. José Augusto de Andrade was slow to take the kick. During this time Belo Academy's players had a chance to rest. In the 41st match minute, LUSINHA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Andrézinho Paulista to maneuver through the defense. Manfredo Travassos struck a weak shot in the 42nd minute. Emiliano Urbilla didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Belo Academy.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Mitch Batshuayi to make the kick off. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Belo Academy fully deserved thier win.
