Benjamim Dante took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Manfredo Travassos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 17 minutes into the match, Belo Academy's goal looked a bit too open when Dudu Meira came free, but Luís Eduardo Mazza reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Luís Eduardo Mazza made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sandrinho Hoffmann in the 19th minute of play. 25 minutes into the match, Estrela Solitária's goal looked a bit too open when Bernardinho Leão came free, but Benjamim Dante reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Benjamim Dante made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bernardinho Leão in the 26th minute of play. Estrela Solitária's Benjamim Dante played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Manfredo Travassos in the 27th minute of play. In the 30thth minute of the game Manfredo Travassos who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Estrela Solitária's Benjamim Dante was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Sandrinho Hoffmann blasted a shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Luís Eduardo Mazza having to make a save. In the 38th minute, Manfredo Travassos made a precise shot to the right of Benjamim Dante. Estrela Solitária's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. In the 42nd minute Manfredo Travassos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benjamim Dante saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dudu Meira in the 47th minute of play forced Belo Academy's goalkeeper Luís Eduardo Mazza to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.

The wind increased when Manfredo Travassos made the kick off in the second half. After 63 played minutes Belo Academy got a freekick which was hit by Ismael Martins. Estrela Solitária's Tarcisio Quintal was substituted for Willian Gaúcho. Estrela Solitária's Túlio Maravilha was substituted for Sandrinho Hoffmann. Luís Eduardo Mazza didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Túlio Maravilha went, in the 72nd minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. Benjamim Dante was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Manfredo Travassos showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-2 in the 76 minute of play. Benjamim Dante showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bernardinho Leão, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. A collision led to Belo Academy getting a freekick after 93 minutes play. Luizão Dinamite hit a great ball. With a little luck, Estrela Solitária's Benjamim Dante got control of the ball when Bernardinho Leão tried to sneak it across the goal line. Bernardinho Leão could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 95th minute of the match, but Benjamim Dante made a huge save. In the 96th match minute, Estrela Solitária was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vilhelm Norberg to maneuver through the defense. Belo Academy were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing Estrela Solitária to leave the ground with a draw.
