Magno Pitta was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Edvard Carlsson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 7th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Magno Pitta showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edvard Carlsson in the 7th minute of the match. After having played for 9 minutes, Felipe Drogba managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Goblins F.C.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Felipe Drogba was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 16th minute, Edvard Carlsson fired away a free kick at the goal, but hit it at the wrong angle and it went over the crossbar. Brigido EC's Magno Pitta played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edvard Carlsson in the 23rd minute of play. 31 minutes had been played when some careless play by Brigido EC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Eduardo Machado was slow to take the kick. During this time Goblins F.C.'s players had a chance to rest. After 31 minutes of play, Goblins F.C.'s Vangel Hrulev made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Magno Pitta was left in no man's land by his defense there! After 34 played minutes Brigido EC got a freekick which was hit by Nando Rosa. When Edvard Carlsson came up free with the goalie in the 35th minute, the Goblins F.C. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Edvard Carlsson couldn't finish the play. Magno Pitta made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edvard Carlsson in the 40th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Brigido EC's Eriberto Esteves got a free kick in the 42nd minute. The supporters of Brigido EC booed when Goblins F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Egídio Cearense didn't get a good kick on the ball. After the first half Goblins F.C. were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

In the 52nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Brigido EC's goalkeeper Magno Pitta, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 56th minute, Felipe Drogba got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. A collision led to Goblins F.C. getting a freekick after 59 minutes play. Eduardo Machado hit a great ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Edvard Carlsson in the 64th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Magno Pitta prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 64 minutes, Edvard Carlsson made it 0-4 with a short kick to the right side. Brigido EC's Magno Pitta tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. 67 minutes into the game, Goblins F.C.'s Edvard Carlsson nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Magno Pitta made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-5. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eriberto Esteves in the 76th minute of play forced Goblins F.C.'s goalkeeper Shen Yi Yuan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Brigido EC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Eriberto Esteves in the 82nd minute. A nice corner shot did that Eriberto Esteves got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Shen Yi Yuan quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Edvard Carlsson hit a great freekick 83 minutes into the match. Denílson Alvarenga struck a weak shot in the 83rd minute. Shen Yi Yuan didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Brigido EC. If Felipe Drogba had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Edvard Carlsson in the 94th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Magno Pitta prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When the referee blew the final whistle jeers and boos were heard from the home team's supporters. They were angered to see Brigido EC lose a match they had controlled from the kick-off.
