Spectators: 152 (Terracing: 114, Seating: 35, VIP seats: 3) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Dudu Meira took the kick off in the first half of the match. Dudu Meira took the ball and in the 9 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Luís Eduardo Mazza. Luís Eduardo Mazza dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Luís Eduardo Mazza came out of the goal in the 15th minute to try and stop a shot by Estrela Solitária's Sandrinho Hoffmann. But to his dismay, Sandrinho Hoffmann quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. 23 minutes into the match, Belo Academy's goal looked a bit too open when Dudu Meira came free, but Luís Eduardo Mazza reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Luís Eduardo Mazza took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dudu Meira, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Estrela Solitária's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Chicão Amorim in the 24th minute. Estrela Solitária's Dudu Meira was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Luís Eduardo Mazza in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. 31 minutes into the match, Estrela Solitária's Sandrinho Hoffmann sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Luís Eduardo Mazza narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Luís Eduardo Mazza came out of the goal in the 34th minute to try and stop a shot by Estrela Solitária's Dudu Meira. But to his dismay, Dudu Meira quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-3. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 2-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Manfredo Travassos was the one to do the kick off. 54 minutes into the match, Luizão Dinamite had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Benjamim Dante. Estrela Solitária's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Luizão Dinamite was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-3. The audience was convinced that Bernardinho Leão's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Benjamim Dante was relentless in the 61st minute of the game. 69 minutes into the match, Estrela Solitária's goal looked a bit too open when Bernardinho Leão came free, but Benjamim Dante reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 70th minute, Dudu Meira hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Luís Eduardo Mazza showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gerd Müller in the 80th minute of the match. 83 minutes into the match, Manfredo Travassos had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Benjamim Dante. Estrela Solitária's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Manfredo Travassos was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-3. Belo Academy's Luís Eduardo Mazza proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 89th minute of the match, managed to save Belo Academy from getting a goal against them. After 90 played minutes Estrela Solitária got a freekick which was hit by Zé Roberto Hermes. Adhemar Penha took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 92nd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Benjamim Dante. Estrela Solitária's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Belo Academy were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest.
