Shen Yi Yuan didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Lino Mineiro went, in the 37th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. In the 41st match minute, LUSINHA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pedrinho Botelho to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edvard Carlsson in the 42nd minute of play forced LUSINHA's goalkeeper Emiliano Urbilla to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Mitch Batshuayi made a kick off.
