The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 8 minutes into the game, one of LUZ SS:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. When the match had been going on for 10 minutes, Milanis E.C.'s Augusto das Neves got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Kacper Tobiass. Kacper Tobiass showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Paulão Porto in the 13th minute of the match. 16 minutes into the game, LUZ SS's Sidney Machado nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Bebeto Britto made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. Bebeto Britto came out of the goal in the 24th minute to try and stop a shot by LUZ SS's Jeremy Coulter. But to his dismay, Jeremy Coulter quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. If Jeremy Coulter had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bebeto Britto didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Sidney Machado went, in the 34th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-3 was the resulting score. Bebeto Britto took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sidney Machado, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 39th match minute, Milanis E.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fabiano de Sousa to maneuver through the defense. After 46 played minutes Milanis E.C. got a freekick which was hit by Zé Carlos da Cunha. 48 minutes into the game, Sidney Machado cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-4. Bebeto Britto was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Paulão Porto to strike the kick off in the second half. Abel Coelho kicked well hit freekick during the 58th minute of the match. Kacper Tobiass took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Paulão Porto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Kacper Tobiass showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Paulão Porto, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. After 64 played minutes LUZ SS got a freekick which was hit by Sidney Machado. 66 minutes into the game, Ronaldão Mazza cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-4. Kacper Tobiass was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Sidney Machado in the 70th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Bebeto Britto prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Jeremy Coulter got in the 71st a clear chance and fired away a hard shot against goal, but Bebeto Britto handled the situation perfectly and made a save by the crossbar. In the 74th minute the ball was on its way in behind Milanis E.C.'s goalkeeper Bebeto Britto, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 77th minute, Gilvan Medeiros hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 77 played minutes, Milanis E.C.'s Augusto das Neves shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Kacper Tobiass came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Milanis E.C. reached it. Anibal Frasquito hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match. Abel Coelho hit a great freekick 82 minutes into the match. The audience was convinced that Paulão Porto's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Kacper Tobiass was relentless in the 86th minute of the game. The supporters of Milanis E.C. booed when LUZ SS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 86 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jeremy Coulter didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jeremy Coulter scored 2-5 in the 88th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Bebeto Britto, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Sidney Machado sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Sidney Machado recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 93rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With his leg Bebeto Britto managed to avoid a goal in the 95thth minute, when LUZ SS's Jeremy Coulter fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. A hard shot 95 in the game by Jeremy Coulter from a close distance when the talented Bebeto Britto managed to make a qualified save. Milanis E.C.'s players were relieved. After 96 played minutes Milanis E.C. got a freekick which was hit by Chicão Matorin. The Milanis E.C. fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. LUZ SS were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
