Olivedos's Abel de Godoi got a good chance for a goal in the 15th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Caveira FC Rondoniense's Diego Jakue got a free kick in the 17th minute. 18 minutes into the match, Olivedos's Abel de Godoi sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Luizão Vargas narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 20 minutes had been played when some careless play by Caveira FC Rondoniense's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Luisinho Ceresso was slow to take the kick. During this time Olivedos's players had a chance to rest. The corner led Olivedos's Luisinho Ceresso to fire away a dangerous shot which Luizão Vargas despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Luizão Vargas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Abel de Godoi, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. In the 27th minute Christoffel Vinck shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Yuri da Cunha saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Yuri da Cunha made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Christoffel Vinck in the 27th minute of play. 34 minutes into the match, Olivedos's goal looked a bit too open when Christoffel Vinck came free, but Yuri da Cunha reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Abel de Godoi in the 38th minute of play forced Caveira FC Rondoniense's goalkeeper Luizão Vargas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Yuri da Cunha didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 43rd minute, which inside left pole to 1-0.

Olivedos's supporters crossed their fingers, but Abel de Godoi was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Abel de Godoi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Abel de Godoi could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 71st minute of the match, but Luizão Vargas made a huge save. Yuri da Cunha made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Armando Eliazar in the 77th minute of play. Luizão Vargas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Abel de Godoi, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. Rubinho Chaves kicked well hit freekick during the 81st minute of the match. Yuri da Cunha didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Panait Dulca went, in the 82nd minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score.
