Baltazar Luz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pastor Gitano in the 13th minute of play. After 17 minutes of play, Figueira SC FSCMZ's Pastor Gitano made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Baltazar Luz was left in no man's land by his defense there! 28 minutes into the match, Pastor Gitano dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Baltazar Luz, 5-0. Pastor Gitano's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 31stth minute, Baltazar Luz skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Baltazar Luz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pastor Gitano in the 32nd minute of the match. In the 33rd minute, Figueira SC FSCMZ's Lovro Gotovina dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 6-0. 40 minutes into the game, Figueira SC FSCMZ's Yuri Reis nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Baltazar Luz made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 7-0. After 43 played minutes Figueira SC FSCMZ got a freekick which was hit by Şakir Aydınoğlu. Baltazar Luz made an important save on a dangerous shot by Pastor Gitano in the 46th minute. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 7-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Şakir Aydınoğlu was the one to do the kick off. A.C. Renascença's Baltazar Luz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lovro Gotovina in the 51st minute of play. After a rather tough play, A.C. Renascença's Rufino Rengifo got a free kick in the 59th minute. 65 minutes into the match, A.C. Renascença's goal looked a bit too open when Pastor Gitano came free, but Baltazar Luz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 67 minutes into the match, Yuri Reis had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Baltazar Luz. A.C. Renascença's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Yuri Reis was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 8-0. In the 70th minute Yuri Reis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Baltazar Luz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pastor Gitano in the 82nd minute of play forced A.C. Renascença's goalkeeper Baltazar Luz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some careless play in the A.C. Renascença defense, Şakir Aydınoğlu kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Baltazar Luz. The A.C. Renascença fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Baltazar Luz should have stopped the shot. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Figueira SC FSCMZ had played much better football throughout.
