With a little luck, Carrapichel - FDFDF's Tony Dias got control of the ball when Yuri Alberto tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 15th minute, Mário Veiga ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Tony Dias was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. In the 20th minute, Yuri Alberto made a precise shot to the right of Tony Dias. Carrapichel - FDFDF's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-0. After some careless play in the Carrapichel - FDFDF defense, Mário Veiga kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Tony Dias. The Carrapichel - FDFDF fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Tony Dias should have stopped the shot. 30 minutes into the match, Mário Veiga had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Tony Dias. Carrapichel - FDFDF's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Mário Veiga was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 6-0. 33 minutes into the game, Messejana SportClub - DMZ's Yuri Alberto nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Tony Dias made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 7-0. If Mário Veiga had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the match had gone on for 39 minutes, Mário Veiga took a quick shot and it went in 8-0 without a chance for Tony Dias to make any attempt to save it. Carrapichel - FDFDF's Tony Dias played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mário Veiga in the 45th minute of play. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 8-0 at half-time.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Mário Veiga stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After having played for 51 minutes, Yuri Alberto managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Messejana SportClub - DMZ's supporters crossed their fingers, but Yuri Alberto was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Tony Dias came out of the goal in the 53rd minute to try and stop a shot by Messejana SportClub - DMZ's Mário Veiga. But to his dismay, Mário Veiga quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 9-0. Tony Dias showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mário Veiga, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. Yuri Alberto took the ball and in the 57 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Tony Dias. Tony Dias dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 10-0. Messejana SportClub - DMZ's Bebeto Santos was substituted for Darío Furlan. Mário Veiga struck a weak shot in the 61st minute. Tony Dias didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Messejana SportClub - DMZ. In the 63rd minute, Mário Veiga made a precise shot to the right of Tony Dias. Carrapichel - FDFDF's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 11-0. 66 minutes into the game, Angelo Pinheiro was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Carrapichel - FDFDF's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Messejana SportClub - DMZ the free kick. After 67 minutes of play, Messejana SportClub - DMZ's Mário Veiga made it 12-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Tony Dias was left in no man's land by his defense there! 71 minutes into the match, Mário Veiga notched a goal, 13-0, to the right of Carrapichel - FDFDF's Tony Dias. Tony Dias was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Carrapichel - FDFDF's Tony Dias played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mario Fernandes in the 74th minute of play. Tony Dias stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Mário Veiga's shot from short distance in the 75th minute. Mário Veiga might have been able to make a better finish in the 77th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Tony Dias. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Mário Veiga ran back to his position shaking his head. Mario Fernandes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. Tony Dias tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 81 minutes of play, Messejana SportClub - DMZ's Mário Veiga made it 14-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Tony Dias was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 85th minute Mário Veiga shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tony Dias saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the Carrapichel - FDFDF defense, Mario Fernandes kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Tony Dias. The Carrapichel - FDFDF fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Tony Dias should have stopped the shot. Tony Dias took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mário Veiga, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Messejana SportClub - DMZ's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
