With a little luck, AF CERRADO's Arlindo Guedes got control of the ball when Shen Sang Hao tried to sneak it across the goal line. 8 minutes into the match, Antônio Carlos Bueno notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Tarrasque Voador F.C.'s Xander Goos. Xander Goos was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Arlindo Guedes was out of position in the 15 minute of play, and Shen Sang Hao capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Shen Sang Hao really showed his touch with that goal: 1-1. After a rather tough play, Tarrasque Voador F.C.'s Dedê Paraibano got a free kick in the 17th minute. Iuri Falcão kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. In the 22nd minute the ball was on its way in behind AF CERRADO's goalkeeper Arlindo Guedes, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Murilo Lucas hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 25th minute, Antônio Carlos Bueno managed to get in a good position for a shot. AF CERRADO's supporters rose to their feet, but Antônio Carlos Bueno was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Xander Goos breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Xander Goos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Murilo Lucas, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. Murilo Lucas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Xander Goos having to interfere. In the 36th minute, Toninho Moreira hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 38 played minutes AF CERRADO got a freekick which was hit by Toninho Moreira. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Antônio Carlos Bueno was the one to do the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Antônio Carlos Bueno in the 57th minute of play forced Tarrasque Voador F.C.'s goalkeeper Xander Goos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tarrasque Voador F.C.'s Christian Motta was substituted for Dedê Paraibano. Tarrasque Voador F.C.'s Vladimir Barral was substituted for Napoleon Furgal. Toninho Moreira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Xander Goos having to interfere. Shen Sang Hao took the ball and in the 71 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Arlindo Guedes. Arlindo Guedes dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-1. AF CERRADO's Thiago Damião was substituted for Marcos Paulista. 77 minutes into the match, Thiago Damião dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Xander Goos, 3-2. When Felix Smits fell near the penalty area in the 86th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored AF CERRADO's protests and gave Felix Smits a yellow card for diving instead. Xander Goos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Thiago Damião in the 96th minute of the match. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Tarrasque Voador F.C. fans cheered their team off the field, for while AF CERRADO had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
