Léo Nóbrega's late challenge caught a Messejana SportClub - DMZ's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Cássio Gaspar was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Cássio Gaspar was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Juarês Melo showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 3-0 in the 15 minute of play. Messejana SportClub - DMZ's attentive Yuri Alberto managed to snatch the ball when Haroldo Corrêa made a throw-in in the 26th minute of the game. After having played for 30 minutes, Juarês Melo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Messejana SportClub - DMZ's supporters crossed their fingers, but Juarês Melo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Edmílson de Souza had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in ZONA NOROESTE - SANTOS's zone, Juarês Melo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cássio Gaspar came out of the goal and Juarês Melo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Fernandinho Furtado during the 36th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to ZONA NOROESTE - SANTOS getting a freekick after 36 minutes play. Fernandinho Furtado hit a great ball. Juarês Melo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Cássio Gaspar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Enrique Paiva was the one to do the kick off. Cássio Gaspar took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Juarês Melo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to ZONA NOROESTE - SANTOS getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Cássio Gaspar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Juarês Melo in the 59th minute of the match. In the 60th minute, Juarês Melo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Cássio Gaspar was frozen by the shot and now it was 8-0. Messejana SportClub - DMZ's Bebeto Santos was substituted for Darío Furlan. Messejana SportClub - DMZ made a substitution. Mário Veiga replaced Juarês Melo. After 82 minutes of play, Messejana SportClub - DMZ's Mário Veiga made it 11-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Cássio Gaspar was left in no man's land by his defense there! Cássio Gaspar came out of the goal in the 85th minute to try and stop a shot by Messejana SportClub - DMZ's Mário Veiga. But to his dismay, Mário Veiga quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 12-0. In the 89th minute Válter Furtado shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cássio Gaspar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the match clock showed 92 minutes, the score became 13-0 when Mário Veiga sped through ZONA NOROESTE - SANTOS's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Cássio Gaspar. Mário Veiga struck a weak shot in the 95th minute. Cássio Gaspar didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Messejana SportClub - DMZ. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Messejana SportClub - DMZ had played much better football throughout.
