Through an outstanding action, after 17 minutes, Ricardo Fonseca successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. The supporters of GURIZADA MEDONHA booed when Guadalupe FC - CIMZ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tatu Loco didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jardel Dracena received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Hieronim Gdowski tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet as Guadalupe FC - CIMZ's José de Queirós slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Ricardo Fonseca. That made the score 2-0 after 37 minutes of play. Hieronim Gdowski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Frank Donato in the 40th minute of play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell José de Queirós to make the kick off. Guadalupe FC - CIMZ's Ursino Fuente got a good chance for a goal in the 51st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 52nd minute, Walmyr Travassos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the match had gone on for 53 minutes, Luan Basso took a quick shot and it went in 2-1 without a chance for Hieronim Gdowski to make any attempt to save it. With a couple of smart ball manuevers José de Queirós in the 57th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ricardo Fonseca saved GURIZADA MEDONHA from getting behind. Ricardo Fonseca showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vinícius Andrade, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. In the 61st minute of the match Guadalupe FC - CIMZ got a corner. GURIZADA MEDONHA's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Ursino Fuente ran over to the corner to take the kick.
