With a little luck, Xurupita FC's Jarbas Pimenta got control of the ball when Álvaro Gaspar tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 16th minute Joseph Kellbom shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dito Novaes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Caetano Gustav hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. Dito Novaes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Karni Yair, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
