Karni Yair blasted a shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ricardo Fonseca having to make a save. With an all-out effort, Xurupita FC's Ricardo Fonseca threw himself towards the right post 30 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Karni Yair, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Xurupita FC's Kauan Rosa got a good chance for a goal in the 48th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Oscar Sena to strike the kick off in the second half. Humberto Secco hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match.
