Sport Club Cevada's Raphael Martins managed to work through Tapera's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Raphael Martins dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. Apostolis Porros showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Honorato Nardo, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. Ermano Villahoz could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 21st minute of the match, but Oswaldo das Neves made a huge save. Tapera were furious when Zachary Krzynowek was red carded, 41 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. After 41 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Tapera! The supporters of Tapera booed when Sport Club Cevada was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Okanalp Tuncel didn't get a good kick on the ball. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

After 77 minutes of play, Sport Club Cevada's Kaká Batista made it 7-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net.
