Dida Taffarel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wilson Andrade in the 8th minute of the match. A collision led to GLADIADORES getting a freekick after 8 minutes play. Marcel Catarinense hit a great ball. Wilson Andrade sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Dida Taffarel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Wilson Andrade, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. Dida Taffarel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Wilson Andrade, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Marquês de Herval's Dida Taffarel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wilson Andrade in the 20th minute of play. Thomas Ravelli showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from German Cano, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. In the 24th minute Wilson Andrade shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dida Taffarel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 25th minute of the game Jon Grøneng made a throw-in which German Cano played forward. In the 27th minute the ball was on its way in behind Marquês de Herval's goalkeeper Dida Taffarel, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Thomas Ravelli made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Selami Rezan in the 29th minute of play. GLADIADORES's Thomas Ravelli played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dorian Moraes in the 30th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Wilson Andrade in the 34th minute of play forced Marquês de Herval's goalkeeper Dida Taffarel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thomas Ravelli showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alfredo Martins, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. In the 48th minute Wilson Andrade shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dida Taffarel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In a very dangerous position, a player in GLADIADORES fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 76th minute. Penalty! Thomas Ravelli had in the 77thth minute some difficulties stopping Moussa Kabre's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his right side, but he still managed to hold the ball In the 77th minute, Moussa Kabre ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Thomas Ravelli was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-2. GLADIADORES made a substitution. Anacleto Rozarius replaced Wilson Andrade. 90 minutes into the match, Anacleto Rozarius notched a goal, 3-2, to the right of Marquês de Herval's Dida Taffarel. Dida Taffarel was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. GLADIADORES's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
