After 14 played minutes BARBARIDADE G.M. got a freekick which was hit by Enio Gomes. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jerônimo Moreno in the 18th minute of play forced E.C. Itajaí's goalkeeper João Augusto Custódio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Alfredinho Brodel in the 20th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Genílson Dante saved BARBARIDADE G.M. from getting behind. After 23 minutes of play, BARBARIDADE G.M.'s Jerônimo Moreno made it 0-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. João Augusto Custódio was left in no man's land by his defense there! An unexpectedly hard shot by Enio Gomes in the 32nd minute of play forced E.C. Itajaí's goalkeeper João Augusto Custódio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 32 minutes in the game, the ball went up into the seats when BARBARIDADE G.M.'s Enio Gomes fired away a shot that was just a little bit too high. He walked away shaking his head. E.C. Itajaí's João Augusto Custódio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jerônimo Moreno in the 35th minute of play. In the 37th minute, Enio Gomes left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The BARBARIDADE G.M. fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-5. Per-Arne Ström took the ball and in the 40 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised João Augusto Custódio. João Augusto Custódio dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-6. In the 44th minute, Jerônimo Moreno ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. João Augusto Custódio was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-7. Disappointed in the 0-7 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Genílson Dante stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Anderson Matorin's shot from short distance in the 52nd minute. Alfredinho Brodel's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Genílson Dante read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 53rd minute of play. João Augusto Custódio was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 56th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Geovanni Trancoso. In the 57th minute, Olavo Braga hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. E.C. Itajaí's João Augusto Custódio proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 60th minute of the match, managed to save E.C. Itajaí from getting a goal against them. In the 63rd minute E.C. Itajaí were awarded a corner. Henrique Tepedino went to the cornerflag to take it. After taking down the ball on E.C. Itajaí's corner Henrique Tepedino fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Genílson Dante quite easily take care of the ball. 64 minutes into the game, Jerônimo Moreno recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of João Augusto Custódio. Jerônimo Moreno showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-8. BARBARIDADE G.M.'s Genílson Dante played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Anderson Matorin in the 69th minute of play. 72 minutes into the match, E.C. Itajaí's goalkeeper João Augusto Custódio had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jerônimo Moreno. In the 76th minute, Enio Gomes ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. João Augusto Custódio was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-9. Enio Gomes scored 0-10 in the 79th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of João Augusto Custódio, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. João Augusto Custódio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Enio Gomes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. BARBARIDADE G.M.'s Genílson Dante played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Anderson Matorin in the 85th minute of play. In the 86th minute of the match, Enio Gomes tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but João Augusto Custódio saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. The supporters of BARBARIDADE G.M. booed when E.C. Itajaí was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 87 match minutes in a wonderful position. Olavo Braga didn't get a good kick on the ball. 91 minutes into the game, Enio Gomes recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of João Augusto Custódio. Enio Gomes showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-11. Renan Veloso kicked well hit freekick during the 95th minute of the match. João Augusto Custódio made an important save on a dangerous shot by Váldson Mesquita in the 96th minute. BARBARIDADE G.M. played a much better game than E.C. Itajaí and deserved their victory. The E.C. Itajaí players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
