João Augusto Custódio didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Wágner Nogueira went, in the 24th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. Donalton Meneses who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 26thth minute tested the skills of João Augusto Custódio when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Anderson Matorin charged in rather forcefully in the 76th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Anderson Matorin the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of 『盛世メ名門』MZ TOMAR NO C∩ ™ booed when E.C. Itajaí was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 76 match minutes in a wonderful position. Anderson Matorin didn't get a good kick on the ball. João Augusto Custódio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Donalton Meneses, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Donalton Meneses in the 91st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg João Augusto Custódio saved E.C. Itajaí from getting behind. Alfredinho Brodel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Horácio Teixeira having to interfere. E.C. Itajaí's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
