When the match had gone on for 9 minutes, Henrique Borges took a quick shot and it went in 2-0 without a chance for Jaques Wyfliets to make any attempt to save it. 12 minutes into the match, NOCIVOS's goal looked a bit too open when Henrique Borges came free, but Jaques Wyfliets reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Treze Futebol Clube CIMZ's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Naldo Valladares in the 16th minute. Treze Futebol Clube CIMZ's Naldo Valladares was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Jaques Wyfliets in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. 17 minutes into the match, Treze Futebol Clube CIMZ's goal looked a bit too open when Anders Dannervig came free, but Hansjörg Wastl reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jaques Wyfliets stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Henrique Borges's shot from short distance in the 23rd minute. 24 minutes had been played when some careless play by NOCIVOS's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Naldo Valladares was slow to take the kick. During this time Treze Futebol Clube CIMZ's players had a chance to rest. Jaques Wyfliets showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Henrique Borges in the 28th minute of the match. 30 minutes into the match, Treze Futebol Clube CIMZ's Henrique Borges sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jaques Wyfliets narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Hansjörg Wastl showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ion Chiritã in the 35th minute of the match. In the 37th minute the ball was on its way in behind NOCIVOS's goalkeeper Jaques Wyfliets, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The corner led to Treze Futebol Clube CIMZ's Paolo Argi getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. In the 40th minute the ball was on its way in behind NOCIVOS's goalkeeper Jaques Wyfliets, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 44 minutes in the game, Henrique Borges fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Jaques Wyfliets having to interfere. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

After some careless play in the NOCIVOS defense, Henrique Borges kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jaques Wyfliets. The NOCIVOS fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jaques Wyfliets should have stopped the shot. If Baldomero Hermon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 57th minute Henrique Borges shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jaques Wyfliets saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, NOCIVOS's Djalma Santos got a free kick in the 58th minute. Mai Cheng Yin was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 67 minutes into the match. After 67 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for NOCIVOS! NOCIVOS's Jaques Wyfliets played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edu Carvalho in the 75th minute of play. Edu Carvalho took the ball and in the 77 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jaques Wyfliets. Jaques Wyfliets dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-0. Treze Futebol Clube CIMZ made a substitution. Emiel Desmet replaced Naldo Valladares. Treze Futebol Clube CIMZ's Valdemar Tepedino was substituted for Felippe Pitta. Djalma Santos got a throw-in 82 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Valdomiro Romero. Djalma Santos made in the 85th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Robert Baggio. In the 86th minute, Edu Carvalho made a precise shot to the right of Jaques Wyfliets. NOCIVOS's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 6-0. Jaques Wyfliets showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hayri Pitirimov, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute. 90 minutes into the game, Treze Futebol Clube CIMZ's Edu Carvalho nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jaques Wyfliets made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 7-0. Jaques Wyfliets didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Edu Carvalho went, in the 93rd minute, to the upper right corner, 8-0 was the resulting score. 96 minutes into the match, Treze Futebol Clube CIMZ's Edu Carvalho sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jaques Wyfliets narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Edu Carvalho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 98th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Treze Futebol Clube CIMZ fans cheered their team off the field, for while NOCIVOS had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
