João Augusto Custódio made a fantastic save in the 4th minute, when Henrique Borges sent off a good shot on target. A sloppy throw-in by Henrique Tepedino in the 5th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Treze Futebol Clube CIMZ's Baldomero Hermon. When Baldomero Hermon came up free with the goalie in the 7th minute, the Treze Futebol Clube CIMZ fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Baldomero Hermon couldn't finish the play. Henrique Borges sent away a hard shot on goal in the 9th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Henrique Borges in the 10th minute of play forced E.C. Itajaí's goalkeeper João Augusto Custódio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 10 minutes into the game, Alfredinho Brodel was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. E.C. Itajaí's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Treze Futebol Clube CIMZ the free kick. In the 10th minute, Alfredinho Brodel hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 16th minute, Baldomero Hermon made a precise shot to the right of João Augusto Custódio. E.C. Itajaí's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. João Augusto Custódio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Henrique Borges, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Henrique Borges in the 21st minute of play forced E.C. Itajaí's goalkeeper João Augusto Custódio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. João Augusto Custódio made an important save on a dangerous shot by Henrique Borges in the 25th minute. João Augusto Custódio came out of the goal in the 26th minute to try and stop a shot by Treze Futebol Clube CIMZ's Henrique Borges. But to his dismay, Henrique Borges quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. 30 minutes into the match, Henrique Borges dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of João Augusto Custódio, 4-0. 33 minutes into the match, Henrique Borges notched a goal, 5-0, to the right of E.C. Itajaí's João Augusto Custódio. João Augusto Custódio was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Henrique Borges in the 40th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg João Augusto Custódio saved E.C. Itajaí from getting behind. Henrique Borges struck a weak shot in the 42nd minute. João Augusto Custódio didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Treze Futebol Clube CIMZ. Anderson Matorin charged in rather forcefully in the 46th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Anderson Matorin the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 5-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Henrique Borges to strike the kick off in the second half. Hayri Pitirimov struck a weak shot in the 51st minute. João Augusto Custódio didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Treze Futebol Clube CIMZ. When the match had gone on for 55 minutes, Henrique Borges put it in 6-0 from a short distance just to the right of João Augusto Custódio. Treze Futebol Clube CIMZ made a substitution. Edu Carvalho replaced Henrique Borges. Henrique Tepedino charged in rather forcefully in the 60th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Henrique Tepedino the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Henrique Tepedino kicked well hit freekick during the 60th minute of the match. If Edu Carvalho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. João Augusto Custódio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edu Carvalho in the 65th minute of the match. 69 minutes into the match, Edu Carvalho had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of João Augusto Custódio. E.C. Itajaí's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Edu Carvalho was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 8-0. E.C. Itajaí's João Augusto Custódio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edu Carvalho in the 72nd minute of play. In the 74thth minute of the game Edu Carvalho who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but E.C. Itajaí's João Augusto Custódio was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Edu Carvalho's late challenge caught a E.C. Itajaí's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Edu Carvalho helped the player get up and apologised. After 77 played minutes Treze Futebol Clube CIMZ got a freekick which was hit by Edu Carvalho. Treze Futebol Clube CIMZ's Emiel Desmet was substituted for Naldo Valladares. Treze Futebol Clube CIMZ made a substitution. Valdemar Tepedino replaced Felippe Pitta. After a rather tough play, Treze Futebol Clube CIMZ's Edu Carvalho got a free kick in the 78th minute. Edu Carvalho might have been able to make a better finish in the 81st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over João Augusto Custódio. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Edu Carvalho ran back to his position shaking his head. João Augusto Custódio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edu Carvalho, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. Edu Carvalho scored 10-0 in the 87th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of João Augusto Custódio, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 91st minute, Edu Carvalho left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Treze Futebol Clube CIMZ fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 11-0. Edu Carvalho took the ball and in the 95 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised João Augusto Custódio. João Augusto Custódio dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 12-0. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Treze Futebol Clube CIMZ fully deserved thier win.
