The Queluzito fans' excitement grew in the 25th match minute when Queluzito's Turgut Zor looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Vascão-ES's Arnaldo Totakoxe played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by José Ramalho in the 39th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Vladimir Queirós got free with Pedro Paulo Bueno in the 41st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

The wind increased when Turgut Zor made the kick off in the second half. The crowd rose to their feet as Turgut Zor kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Arnaldo Totakoxe. That made the score 1-5 in the 84 minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by José Ramalho during the 92nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Queluzito booed when Vascão-ES was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fábio Saraiva didn't get a good kick on the ball.
