The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Thanks to some nice moves Zézinho Vinhas could shoot a difficult shot in the 6th minute, which Evaristo Lira however easily saved by the left post. Arnaldo Totakoxe showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from André Luís Correia in the 7th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, la masia's Pedrão Marques got a free kick in the 8th minute. André Luís Correia kicked well hit freekick during the 9th minute of the match. A hard shot 14 in the game by Sercan Tümerdem from a close distance when the talented Evaristo Lira managed to make a qualified save. la masia's players were relieved. After some fancy dribbling in the 15th minute, André Luís Correia managed to get in a good position for a shot. la masia's supporters rose to their feet, but André Luís Correia was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Arnaldo Totakoxe breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Evaristo Lira showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zézinho Vinhas, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. Washington Furtado hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. Evaristo Lira made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sercan Tümerdem in the 19th minute of play. la masia's Rodolfo Abraão managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Vladimir Rossi in the 22 minute of the game. With a little luck, la masia's Evaristo Lira got control of the ball when Rodolfo Baumar tried to sneak it across the goal line. A hard shot by Valdo Britto from long distance, 27 minutes into the match, got Evaristo Lira's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. In the 30th minute, Geraldo Brasil hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 33rdth minute of the game André Luís Correia who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Vascão-ES's Arnaldo Totakoxe was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Evaristo Lira made a fantastic save in the 34th minute, when Rodolfo Baumar sent off a good shot on target. Sercan Tümerdem sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 39 played minutes Vascão-ES got a freekick which was hit by Zézinho Vinhas. When the match had gone on for 43 minutes, Vladimir Rossi took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Evaristo Lira to make any attempt to save it. Rodolfo Baumar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Evaristo Lira tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 47 minutes, Zé Carlos Barbosa mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Vascão-ES and the la masia players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Vascão-ES's Zé Carlos Barbosa got a free kick in the 48th minute.

The wind increased when André Luís Correia made the kick off in the second half. When Vascão-ES's Rodolfo Baumar in the 52nd minute got a chance for a shot 52nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. If André Luís Correia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Evaristo Lira made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sercan Tümerdem in the 73rd minute of play. A collision led to la masia getting a freekick after 74 minutes play. Tiago Gabriel Brasil hit a great ball. 75 minutes into the match, Sercan Tümerdem notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of la masia's Evaristo Lira. Evaristo Lira was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After a defensive mix-up in Vascão-ES's zone, André Luís Correia stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Arnaldo Totakoxe came out of the goal and André Luís Correia tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Geraldo Brasil hit a great freekick 83 minutes into the match. When Valdo Britto came up free with the goalie in the 83rd minute, the Vascão-ES fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Valdo Britto couldn't finish the play. After 87 minutes of play, Vascão-ES's Rodolfo Baumar made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Evaristo Lira was left in no man's land by his defense there! Rodolfo Baumar took the ball and in the 92 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Evaristo Lira. Evaristo Lira dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-0. After having played for 96 minutes, Rodolfo Baumar managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Vascão-ES's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rodolfo Baumar was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.
