In the 12th minute Angelo Amorim shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gerd Pollmann saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the last second Benjamim Mendes throw himself and got hold of the ball when Paulão Freire in the 18thth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. After 19 played minutes Farroupilha FC got a freekick which was hit by José Carlos Trancoso. After 28 minutes of play, Militros F.C.'s Sandrinho Cunha made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Benjamim Mendes was left in no man's land by his defense there! Farroupilha FC's Angelo Amorim got a good chance for a goal in the 31st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Benjamim Mendes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Paulão Freire in the 33rd minute of play. Giovanni Sarmento fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gerd Pollmann having to interfere. In the 36th match minute, Militros F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Evert Skräddare to maneuver through the defense. Ronaldinho Mandrak sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With an all-out effort, Militros F.C.'s Benjamim Mendes threw himself towards the right post 42 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Paulão Freire, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. The crowd rose to their feet as Militros F.C.'s Paulão Freire slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Benjamim Mendes. That made the score 3-0 after 44 minutes of play. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Wanderson Valencia made the kick off in the second half. Sandrinho Cunha fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Benjamim Mendes having to interfere. Daniel Veiga kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. Benjamim Mendes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Wanderson Valencia, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Wanderson Valencia in the 72nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Benjamim Mendes prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a rather tough play, Farroupilha FC's Ronaldinho Mandrak got a free kick in the 72nd minute. When Wanderson Valencia came up free with the goalie in the 73rd minute, the Militros F.C. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Wanderson Valencia couldn't finish the play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Wanderson Valencia in the 79th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Benjamim Mendes saved Farroupilha FC from getting behind. 81 minutes into the match, Militros F.C.'s Ronaldão Silva sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Benjamim Mendes narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 82 minutes into the game, Militros F.C.'s Wanderson Valencia nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Benjamim Mendes made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-0. Gerd Pollmann took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Giovanni Sarmento, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gerd Pollmann showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Angelo Amorim, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute. Gerd Pollmann showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Angelo Amorim in the 97th minute of the match. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Militros F.C. fully deserved thier win.
