Vicente Catarinense made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Utoh Bachdim in the 6th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Utoh Bachdim in the 6th minute of play forced Academia B.F.'s goalkeeper Vicente Catarinense to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ricardo Vergílio got free with Vicente Catarinense in the 12th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Vicente Catarinense took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nico Williams, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Primo Sans came up free with the goalie in the 15th minute, the Academia B.F. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Primo Sans couldn't finish the play. In the 21st minute Utoh Bachdim shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vicente Catarinense saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 21 minutes of play, A.S.Saint Ethiene's Utoh Bachdim made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Vicente Catarinense was left in no man's land by his defense there! Primo Sans sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 28th minute Primo Sans shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lorien Tros saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Vicente Catarinense made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ricardo Vergílio in the 37th minute. Vicente Catarinense made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nico Williams in the 40th minute of play. Academia B.F.'s Vicente Catarinense proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 42nd minute of the match, managed to save Academia B.F. from getting a goal against them. 44 minutes into the match, Academia B.F.'s goal looked a bit too open when Nico Williams came free, but Vicente Catarinense reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 45 minutes into the match, Utoh Bachdim notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Academia B.F.'s Vicente Catarinense. Vicente Catarinense was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Primo Sans was the one to do the kick off. Vicente Catarinense showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Teodoro Camargo in the 54th minute of the match. Vicente Catarinense took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Teodoro Camargo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 58 minutes Academia B.F.'s defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Cleto Florian who took care of the corner kick. It was a well-played corner which Nico Williams managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. Nico Williams sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Vicente Catarinense took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Håkan Molin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Lorien Tros showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Primo Sans in the 64th minute of the match. After 66 minutes, Josué Godoi mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Academia B.F. and the A.S.Saint Ethiene players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 66 played minutes Academia B.F. got a freekick which was hit by Josué Godoi. Academia B.F. made a substitution. João Francisco Fontes replaced Wiliam Carioca. In the 67th match minute, Academia B.F. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Josué Godoi to maneuver through the defense. A.S.Saint Ethiene's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Cleto Florian in the 70th minute. A nice corner shot did that Cleto Florian got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Vicente Catarinense quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Academia B.F.'s Vicente Catarinense played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nico Williams in the 75th minute of play. In the 76th minute A.S.Saint Ethiene were awarded a corner. Cleto Florian went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led A.S.Saint Ethiene's Teodoro Camargo to fire away a dangerous shot which Vicente Catarinense despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Primo Sans recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 82nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Teodoro Camargo hit a great freekick 94 minutes into the match. For all the effort they put into the match, the Academia B.F. players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for A.S.Saint Ethiene.
