Anakoz Amer fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 3rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vicente Catarinense having to interfere. Primo Sans might have been able to make a better finish in the 8th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Betinho de Azevedo. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Primo Sans ran back to his position shaking his head. Birmingham Railers FC's Betinho de Azevedo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Primo Sans in the 8th minute of play. 13 minutes into the match, Academia B.F.'s goalkeeper Vicente Catarinense had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Wen Yin Zhen. Betinho de Azevedo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Primo Sans, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Primo Sans in the 23rd minute of play forced Birmingham Railers FC's goalkeeper Betinho de Azevedo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With 33 minutes on the clock, Jeremias Porfirio commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. After 34 played minutes Academia B.F. got a freekick which was hit by Jeremias Porfirio. Ugo Fantozzi could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 35th minute of the match, but Vicente Catarinense made a huge save. The supporters of Birmingham Railers FC booed when Academia B.F. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 36 match minutes in a wonderful position. Josué Godoi didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Ugo Fantozzi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Vicente Catarinense was a little too slow when Önder Aksakal got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 42nd minute. The score was now 3-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Önder Aksakal to make the kick off. In the 51st minute Anakoz Amer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vicente Catarinense saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Ugo Fantozzi fell near the penalty area in the 53rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Birmingham Railers FC's protests and gave Ugo Fantozzi a yellow card for diving instead. Betinho de Azevedo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Primo Sans in the 56th minute of the match. Vicente Catarinense stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Önder Aksakal's shot from short distance in the 57th minute. In the 59th minute Birmingham Railers FC were awarded a corner. Ugo Fantozzi went to the cornerflag to take it. A nice corner shot did that Ugo Fantozzi got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Vicente Catarinense quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Önder Aksakal in the 61st minute of play forced Academia B.F.'s goalkeeper Vicente Catarinense to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Betinho de Azevedo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wiliam Carioca in the 62nd minute of play. 4-0 became the score in the 65th minute when Anakoz Amer elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Academia B.F. made a substitution. Michel Totti replaced Primo Sans. Academia B.F.'s Vicente Catarinense played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wen Yin Zhen in the 71st minute of play. 73 minutes into the game, Michel Totti was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Academia B.F.'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Birmingham Railers FC the free kick. A collision led to Academia B.F. getting a freekick after 74 minutes play. Michel Totti hit a great ball. Vicente Catarinense showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Wen Yin Zhen, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. After 80 played minutes Academia B.F. got a freekick which was hit by Cyril Reynal. Ugo Fantozzi took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 81st minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Vicente Catarinense. Academia B.F.'s goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Vicente Catarinense made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Önder Aksakal in the 83rd minute of play. Michel Totti's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Betinho de Azevedo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 84th minute of play. In the 90th minute Michel Totti shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Betinho de Azevedo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Academia B.F.'s attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Josué Godoi in the 92nd minute. The corner ended in Michel Totti almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Birmingham Railers FC's Betinho de Azevedo did a great save. After 95 played minutes, Birmingham Railers FC's Önder Aksakal shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Vicente Catarinense came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Birmingham Railers FC reached it.
