S.C. Internacional RS's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Giovani Sena was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. Eutropio Negrete hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. In the 31st minute Selçuk Ülger shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Martino Pozuelos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 33rd minute Hélio Corrêa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jailson Antunes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Martino Pozuelos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Selçuk Ülger in the 35th minute of the match. In the 36th minute, Semail İmralı got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Jailson Antunes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Semail İmralı, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 41st minute, Brasil Brasil managed to get in a good position for a shot. S.C. Internacional RS's supporters rose to their feet, but Brasil Brasil was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jailson Antunes breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Martino Pozuelos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Agnaldo Coelho in the 43rd minute of the match. Giovani Sena's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 45thth minute, Martino Pozuelos skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. S.C. Internacional RS's Martino Pozuelos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Selçuk Ülger in the 47th minute of play. If Selçuk Ülger had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 48th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

S.C. Internacional RS's Martino Pozuelos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hamilton Ramos in the 57th minute of play. Selçuk Ülger struck a weak shot in the 61st minute. Martino Pozuelos didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Select Player. After a rather tough play, S.C. Internacional RS's Süruri Ülgen got a free kick in the 68th minute. After having played for 69 minutes, Luís Paulo Carneiro managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Select Player's supporters crossed their fingers, but Luís Paulo Carneiro was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 71 minutes into the match, S.C. Internacional RS's goal looked a bit too open when Hamilton Ramos came free, but Martino Pozuelos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Martino Pozuelos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Giovani Sena in the 77th minute of the match. When Select Player's Giovani Sena in the 81st minute got a chance for a shot 81st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye S.C. Internacional RS's goalie prevented a goal. 83 minutes into the match, S.C. In the 87th minute Selçuk Ülger shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Martino Pozuelos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Raúl de Queiroz hit a great freekick 89 minutes into the match. Nathan Cannavaro's late challenge caught a S.C. Internacional RS's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Nathan Cannavaro helped the player get up and apologised. After 90 played minutes Select Player got a freekick which was hit by Nathan Cannavaro. Hélio Corrêa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 93rd match minute, S.C. Internacional RS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Frédson Teles to maneuver through the defense. For all the effort they put into the match, the S.C. Internacional RS players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Select Player.
