In the 3rd minute Basílio do Valle shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Martino Pozuelos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Nilson Dracena showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hélio Corrêa in the 10th minute of the match. Hélio Corrêa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Nilson Dracena tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Nilson Dracena showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jeremias Lendaa, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. Martino Pozuelos didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Mateus Pitta went, in the 19th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hélio Corrêa in the 25th minute of play forced SE Palmeiras's goalkeeper Nilson Dracena to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Nilson Dracena showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hélio Corrêa in the 25th minute of the match. Dario Palombi took the ball and in the 28 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Nilson Dracena. Nilson Dracena dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-1. When the match had gone on for 33 minutes, Brasil Brasil took a quick shot and it went in 4-1 without a chance for Nilson Dracena to make any attempt to save it. SE Palmeiras's Nilson Dracena proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 36th minute of the match, managed to save SE Palmeiras from getting a goal against them. Carlos Fernando Aparecido hit a great freekick 38 minutes into the match. Nilson Dracena came out of the goal in the 40th minute to try and stop a shot by S.C. Internacional RS's Jeremias Lendaa. But to his dismay, Jeremias Lendaa quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-1. 46 minutes into the game, Dario Palombi cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 6-1. Nilson Dracena was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 6-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Hélio Corrêa to strike the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cleiton Severo in the 55th minute of play forced SE Palmeiras's goalkeeper Nilson Dracena to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. SE Palmeiras's Nilson Dracena played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hélio Corrêa in the 57th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hélio Corrêa in the 58th minute of play forced SE Palmeiras's goalkeeper Nilson Dracena to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 62nd minute, Hélio Corrêa ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Nilson Dracena was frozen by the shot and now it was 7-1. 66 minutes into the match, SE Palmeiras's goal looked a bit too open when Brasil Brasil came free, but Nilson Dracena reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 68 minutes into the match, Dario Palombi notched a goal, 8-1, to the right of SE Palmeiras's Nilson Dracena. Nilson Dracena was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Nilson Dracena showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cleiton Severo in the 71st minute of the match. After 72 minutes of play, S.C. Internacional RS's Dario Palombi made it 9-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Nilson Dracena was left in no man's land by his defense there! The audience was convinced that Hélio Corrêa's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Nilson Dracena was relentless in the 76th minute of the game. SE Palmeiras's Nilson Dracena played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hélio Corrêa in the 77th minute of play. After some careless play in the SE Palmeiras defense, André Luiz Lara kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Nilson Dracena. The SE Palmeiras fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Nilson Dracena should have stopped the shot. Nilson Dracena made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dario Palombi in the 82nd minute of play. 84 minutes into the game, S.C. Internacional RS's Hélio Corrêa nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Nilson Dracena made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 11-1. 87 minutes into the match, Dario Palombi notched a goal, 12-1, to the right of SE Palmeiras's Nilson Dracena. Nilson Dracena was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Nilson Dracena came out of the goal in the 94th minute to try and stop a shot by S.C. Internacional RS's Hélio Corrêa. But to his dismay, Hélio Corrêa quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 13-1. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. S.C. Internacional RS fully deserved thier win.
