Dinei Gøl hit a great ball. Gildo de Lima hit a great freekick 3 minutes into the match. In the 8th minute, Alf Elg ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Martino Pozuelos was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Martino Pozuelos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alf Elg, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. SC Bertioga's Bruninho Vaz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dinei Gøl in the 20th minute of play. Martino Pozuelos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alf Elg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 24th minute S.C. Internacional RS were awarded a corner. Remo Motta went to the cornerflag to take it. A nice corner shot did that Remo Motta got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Bruninho Vaz quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Martino Pozuelos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Flavio Troiano, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. In the 31st match minute, SC Bertioga was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Benedito Coelho to maneuver through the defense. Narciso Negri could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 34th minute of the match, but Bruninho Vaz made a huge save. In the 36th minute Cristian Drăgănoiu suffered a thigh injury and had to be helped off the field. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Narciso Negri during the 36th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. SC Bertioga made a substitution. Durvalino Prado replaced Cristian Drăgănoiu. In the 37th match minute, S.C. Internacional RS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Narciso Negri to maneuver through the defense. Martino Pozuelos stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Alf Elg's shot from short distance in the 38th minute. After a rather tough play, S.C. Internacional RS's Narciso Negri got a free kick in the 42nd minute. Bruninho Vaz had in the 47thth minute some difficulties stopping Dinei Gøl's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Dinei Gøl made a kick off. Martino Pozuelos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Flavio Troiano in the 50th minute of play. 53 minutes into the match, S.C. Internacional RS's Brasil Brasil sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Bruninho Vaz narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When SC Bertioga's Gildo de Lima in the 60th minute got a chance for a shot 60th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye S.C. Internacional RS's goalie prevented a goal. In the 62nd minute Dinei Gøl shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bruninho Vaz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Flavio Troiano received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Martino Pozuelos came out and tried to block the shot, but Flavio Troiano slotted it home off the left post making it 1-2 in the 68th minute. 71 minutes into the match, S.C. Internacional RS's goal looked a bit too open when Sílvio Castro came free, but Martino Pozuelos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Martino Pozuelos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Flavio Troiano in the 74th minute of play. Narciso Negri's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Bruninho Vaz read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 76th minute of play. 82 minutes into the match, S.C. Internacional RS's goalkeeper Martino Pozuelos had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Alf Elg. A nice corner shot did that Remo Motta got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Bruninho Vaz quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Martino Pozuelos made a fantastic save in the 91st minute, when Alf Elg sent off a good shot on target. 92 minutes into the match, S.C. Internacional RS's goal looked a bit too open when Anderson Pombal came free, but Martino Pozuelos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 93 minutes into the game, Eutropio Negrete was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. S.C. Internacional RS's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave SC Bertioga the free kick. When the final whistle sounded SC Bertioga left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than S.C. Internacional RS.
