In the 5th minute Cyryl Joks shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Michel Zanette saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 5th minute, Cyryl Joks left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Nacional de Rolândia fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. The referee gave Nacional de Rolândia a penalty, 10 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Gilberto Furtado, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of SEM CHANCE F.C's Michel Zanette. 0-2. After a rather tough play, SEM CHANCE F.C's Jânio Mendes got a free kick in the 15th minute. Michel Zanette took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cyryl Joks, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 23 minutes into the match, SEM CHANCE F.C's goal looked a bit too open when Saul Jaen came free, but Michel Zanette reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Michel Zanette made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Saul Jaen in the 26th minute of play. When Gustavo Rosa fell near the penalty area in the 32nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored SEM CHANCE F.C's protests and gave Gustavo Rosa a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to SEM CHANCE F.C getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Gustavo Rosa hit a great ball. Renan Alcântara could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 37th minute of the match, but Victor Negri made a huge save. Nacional de Rolândia's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Renan Alcântara 37 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-3. After the first half Nacional de Rolândia were leading 1-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Renan Alcântara stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 55th minute, Saul Jaen ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Michel Zanette was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-4. Breno Siqueira hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. 68 minutes into the match, Nacional de Rolândia's Júnior Vander sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Michel Zanette narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Gilberto Furtado made a great header on Nacional de Rolândia's corner, it was just that SEM CHANCE F.C's Michel Zanette managed to reach the ball for a save. Michel Zanette showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cyryl Joks in the 78th minute of the match. In the 80th minute Casado Mondrevilla shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Victor Negri saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Melquiades Louis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Michel Zanette came out of the goal in the 87th minute to try and stop a shot by Nacional de Rolândia's Mats Nyman. But to his dismay, Mats Nyman quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-6. Michel Zanette didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 92nd minute, which inside left pole to 2-7. Victor Negri took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Casado Mondrevilla, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The Nacional de Rolândia supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Nacional de Rolândia would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
