The audience was convinced that Alex Sági's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Abdulkadir Eraslan was relentless in the 8th minute of the game. Ronaldo Fenomeno could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 13th minute of the match, but Jailson Teles made a huge save. Ronaldo Fenomeno scored 2-0 in the 22nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jailson Teles, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Ronaldo Fenomeno took the ball and in the 24 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jailson Teles. Jailson Teles dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. Ronaldo Fenomeno recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 29th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. AVAÍ F.C.'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Miau Stars the free kick. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ronaldo Fenomeno got free with Jailson Teles in the 43rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 47 played minutes, AVAÍ F.C.'s Tarcisio Chaves shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Abdulkadir Eraslan came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in AVAÍ F.C. reached it. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ronaldo Fenomeno made a kick off. Ronaldo Fenomeno's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jailson Teles read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 51st minute of play. The supporters of Miau Stars booed when AVAÍ F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Elias Figueroa didn't get a good kick on the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ivory Gunn during the 54th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Jailson Teles showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ronaldo Fenomeno, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ronaldo Fenomeno in the 82nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jailson Teles saved AVAÍ F.C. from getting behind. In the 84th minute the ball was on its way in behind AVAÍ F.C.'s goalkeeper Jailson Teles, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Ronaldo Fenomeno sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Jailson Teles took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ronaldo Fenomeno, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 88 minutes into the match, AVAÍ F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Ronaldo Fenomeno came free, but Jailson Teles reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The penalty shot was made by Palmer Akers, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of AVAÍ F.C.'s Jailson Teles. 5-0. 96 minutes into the match, AVAÍ F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Ronaldo Fenomeno came free, but Jailson Teles reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Miau Stars had won after a very even match.
