Geovanni Baptista ran back to his position shaking his head. The throw-in from Xavier Laureys in the 25th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by FIEL F.C.'s Baltazar Meirelles. Adelino Vasconcelos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Geovanni Baptista, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 30 minutes, Geovanni Baptista made it 1-1 with a short kick to the right side. FIEL F.C.'s Adelino Vasconcelos tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Geovanni Baptista received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Família Ressaca MZ's Ronaldinho do Vale got a good chance for a goal in the 42nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The supporters of Família Ressaca MZ booed when FIEL F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. Charles Baptista didn't get a good kick on the ball. 68 minutes into the match, FIEL F.C.'s goalkeeper Adelino Vasconcelos had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ronaldinho do Vale. The crowd rose to their feet as Família Ressaca MZ's Geovanni Baptista slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Adelino Vasconcelos. That made the score 2-4 after 69 minutes of play. Natalio Centenales fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Adelino Vasconcelos having to interfere. After a rather tough play, FIEL F.C.'s Luiz Fábio Leão got a free kick in the 75th minute. 81 minutes into the match, Geovanni Baptista notched a goal, 2-6, to the right of FIEL F.C.'s Adelino Vasconcelos. Adelino Vasconcelos was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it.
