Spectators: 148 (Terracing: 112, Seating: 34, VIP seats: 2) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Dario Alegría started the match with the kick off. AVAÍ F.C.'s Jailson Teles played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Válbson de Alcântara in the 10th minute of play. Yuri Carneiro kicked well hit freekick during the 12th minute of the match. Aírton de Lima came out of the goal in the 14th minute to try and stop a shot by AVAÍ F.C.'s Dario Alegría. But to his dismay, Dario Alegría quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. In the 16th match minute, AVAÍ F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Innocenzio Corales to maneuver through the defense. Jailson Teles came out of the goal in the 19th minute to try and stop a shot by Motta Futebol Clube's Válbson de Alcântara. But to his dismay, Válbson de Alcântara quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. Freddie Vennerberg's late challenge caught a AVAÍ F.C.'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Freddie Vennerberg helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Motta Futebol Clube's Freddie Vennerberg got a free kick in the 23rd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Válbson de Alcântara in the 28th minute of play forced AVAÍ F.C.'s goalkeeper Jailson Teles to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 32 minutes into the match, Motta Futebol Clube's goal looked a bit too open when Alex Sági came free, but Aírton de Lima reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Válbson de Alcântara might have been able to make a better finish in the 34th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jailson Teles. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Válbson de Alcântara ran back to his position shaking his head. AVAÍ F.C.'s Tarcisio Chaves managed to work through Motta Futebol Clube's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Tarcisio Chaves dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. Válbson de Alcântara sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Motta Futebol Clube's Freddie Vennerberg got his second yellow card of the match in the 41st minute. The referee ordered Freddie Vennerberg off the ground. Freddie Vennerberg kicked well hit freekick during the 42nd minute of the match. AVAÍ F.C.'s Luiz Pombal shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 43rd minute of play. The shot was stopped by Aírton de Lima but with some difficulty. Dario Alegría scored 3-1 in the 44th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Aírton de Lima, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Artur Sabóia to strike the kick off in the second half. 54 minutes into the match, Alex Sági notched a goal, 4-1, to the right of Motta Futebol Clube's Aírton de Lima. Aírton de Lima was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Dario Alegría sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. AVAÍ F.C. made a substitution. Rubens Cabral replaced Tarcisio Chaves. AVAÍ F.C. made a substitution. Claus Van De Wiele replaced Luiz Pombal. Claus Van De Wiele hit a great freekick 64 minutes into the match. When the match had gone on for 69 minutes, Dario Alegría put it in 5-1 from a short distance just to the right of Aírton de Lima. Innocenzio Corales made in the 73rd minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Motta Futebol Clube's Gilmar Garcia. Artur Sabóia struck a weak shot in the 76th minute. Jailson Teles didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Motta Futebol Clube. Luizão Domingues sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 80thth minute of the game Walmyr Salles who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Motta Futebol Clube's Aírton de Lima was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dario Alegría in the 83rd minute of play forced Motta Futebol Clube's goalkeeper Aírton de Lima to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 89 minutes had been played when some careless play by Motta Futebol Clube's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Alex Sági was slow to take the kick. During this time AVAÍ F.C.'s players had a chance to rest. Xie Ao fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jailson Teles having to interfere. Motta Futebol Clube's Aírton de Lima played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dario Alegría in the 96th minute of play.
