Spectators: 154 (Terracing: 116, Seating: 35, VIP seats: 3) AVAÍ F.C.'s Dario Alegría started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Dario Alegría took the ball and in the 5 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised João Paulo Silva. João Paulo Silva dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. In the 19th minute Natalio Centenales shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jailson Teles saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Natalio Centenales in the 23rd minute of play forced AVAÍ F.C.'s goalkeeper Jailson Teles to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jailson Teles took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Natalio Centenales, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jailson Teles stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Geovanni Baptista's shot from short distance in the 30th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Natalio Centenales in the 32nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jailson Teles prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Walmyr Salles kicked well hit freekick during the 35th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Família Ressaca MZ's Vasco Arruabarrena got a free kick in the 37th minute. João Paulo Silva made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dario Alegría in the 41st minute of play. In the 45th minute Geovanni Baptista shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jailson Teles saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Geovanni Baptista made a kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Geovanni Baptista in the 60th minute of play forced AVAÍ F.C.'s goalkeeper Jailson Teles to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jailson Teles was out of position in the 64 minute of play, and Natalio Centenales capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Natalio Centenales really showed his touch with that goal: 2-1. AVAÍ F.C.'s Rubens Cabral was substituted for Tarcisio Chaves. Jailson Teles took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Geovanni Baptista, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. AVAÍ F.C.'s Jailson Teles played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Geovanni Baptista in the 78th minute of play. 82 minutes into the match, AVAÍ F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Randy Doty came free, but Jailson Teles reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice moves Natalio Centenales could shoot a difficult shot in the 86th minute, which Jailson Teles however easily saved by the left post. If Rubens Cabral had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Elias Figueroa kicked well hit freekick during the 92nd minute of the match. Jailson Teles showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Geovanni Baptista in the 93rd minute of the match.
