Luiz Paulo Vaz came out of the goal in the 3rd minute to try and stop a shot by Flu Lawyers Soccer Club's Gürhan İlenç. But to his dismay, Gürhan İlenç quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Teobald Pazura received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Luiz Paulo Vaz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Luiz Paulo Vaz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from 姚潮谦 in the 18th minute of the match. Luiz Paulo Vaz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ronaldão Jaafari in the 22nd minute of play. With an all-out effort, São José E. C.'s Evaristo Neves threw himself towards the right post 24 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from 胡思朋, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 27th minute Gürhan İlenç shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luiz Paulo Vaz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. São José E. C.'s Luiz Paulo Vaz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by 姚潮谦 in the 30th minute of play. 32 minutes into the game, Teobald Pazura cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Luiz Paulo Vaz was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 44th minute Ronaldão Jaafari shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luiz Paulo Vaz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 45th minute, Gualter Guedes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Franciszek Kiewra stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Nuno Simão kicked well hit freekick during the 58th minute of the match. 60 minutes had been played when some careless play by São José E. C.'s defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Enio Berger was slow to take the kick. During this time Flu Lawyers Soccer Club's players had a chance to rest. A collision led to São José E. C. getting a freekick after 61 minutes play. Vicente Souza hit a great ball. After having played for 62 minutes, Enio Berger managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Flu Lawyers Soccer Club's supporters crossed their fingers, but Enio Berger was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Vicente Souza hit a great freekick 64 minutes into the match. With a little luck, São José E. C.'s Luiz Paulo Vaz got control of the ball when Teobald Pazura tried to sneak it across the goal line. When the match clock showed 84 minutes, the score became 0-3 when Gürhan İlenç sped through São José E. C.'s defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Luiz Paulo Vaz. In the 86thth minute of the game Teobald Pazura who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but São José E. C.'s Luiz Paulo Vaz was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Luiz Paulo Vaz stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Teobald Pazura's shot from short distance in the 86th minute. In the 88th match minute, São José E. C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Wanderson Velasco to maneuver through the defense. 姚潮谦 sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Luiz Paulo Vaz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Manfred Skarkman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the final whistle sounded Flu Lawyers Soccer Club left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than São José E. C..
