Paul Christini showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sermet Tacal in the 13th minute of the match. In the 15th minute Ernesto Fontes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Telmo Valadares saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 18 minutes Lupere FC - DMZ's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Tao Xing Yong who took care of the corner kick. 19 minutes into the match, Lupere FC - DMZ's goal looked a bit too open when Ernesto Fontes came free, but Telmo Valadares reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Telmo Valadares showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Heleno de Freitas, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. Sermet Tacal took the ball and in the 28 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Paul Christini. Telmo Valadares yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-2. Paul Christini made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sermet Tacal in the 38th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Lupere FC - DMZ's Eduardo Paraense got a free kick in the 43rd minute.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Heleno de Freitas to strike the kick off in the second half. Lupere FC - DMZ's Telmo Valadares played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Heleno de Freitas in the 51st minute of play. 53 minutes into the match, Edson Futebol Clube's goalkeeper Paul Christini had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Sermet Tacal.
