Jesus Rios was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When the match had gone on for 10 minutes, Heleno de Freitas took a quick shot and it went in 2-0 without a chance for Jesus Rios to make any attempt to save it. Ernesto Fontes kicked a quick shot right in front of the goal in the 13thth minute. Though ot was a great shot SIX STAR FC's keeper Jesus Rios was sill able to block leaving the score board unchanged. The audience thought a goal was coming when Heleno de Freitas got free with Jesus Rios in the 15th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Heleno de Freitas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 15th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Ernesto Fontes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Șerban Rareș hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. In the 30th minute, Edson Futebol Clube's Djalma Di Filippo dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 4-0. In the 33rd minute, Edson Futebol Clube's Heleno de Freitas ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Jesus Rios. Jesus Rios yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 5-0. In the 37th minute Edson Futebol Clube were awarded a corner. Tao Xing Yong went to the cornerflag to take it. After 39 minutes of play, Edson Futebol Clube's Ernesto Fontes made it 6-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jesus Rios was left in no man's land by his defense there! 42 minutes into the match, SIX STAR FC's goal looked a bit too open when Heleno de Freitas came free, but Jesus Rios reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Heleno de Freitas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Jesus Rios made an important save on a dangerous shot by Panos Karkantos in the 46th minute. Af the end of the first half the score was 6-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

53 minutes into the match, Lucas Hulk had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jesus Rios. SIX STAR FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Lucas Hulk was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 7-0. With his leg Paul Christini managed to avoid a goal in the 59thth minute, when SIX STAR FC's Percy das Neves fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Jesus Rios made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Heleno de Freitas in the 60th minute of play. Edson Futebol Clube's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Tao Xing Yong in the 61st minute. The corner led Edson Futebol Clube's Ernesto Fontes to fire away a dangerous shot which Jesus Rios despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. In the 70th minute, Almir Moreira hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Edson Futebol Clube's Tuncay Şanlı was substituted for Dumitru Albulescu. The supporters of Edson Futebol Clube booed when SIX STAR FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Almir Moreira didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Tao Xing Yong came up free with the goalie in the 73rd minute, the Edson Futebol Clube fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tao Xing Yong couldn't finish the play. Heleno de Freitas succeeded in the game's 74th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 8-0. After 77 played minutes SIX STAR FC got a freekick which was hit by Tales Eger. Tao Xing Yong struck a weak shot in the 77th minute. Jesus Rios didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Edson Futebol Clube. In the 81st minute, Ernesto Fontes made a precise shot to the right of Jesus Rios. SIX STAR FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 9-0. Jesus Rios made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Panos Karkantos in the 89th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ernesto Fontes in the 93rd minute of play forced SIX STAR FC's goalkeeper Jesus Rios to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Edson Futebol Clube had played much better football throughout.
