Silveira's attentive Nico Fernandes managed to snatch the ball when Renan Fantini made a throw-in in the 3rd minute of the game. Benjamim Nunes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Beto Carvalho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Luiz Fernando de Toledo hit a great freekick 8 minutes into the match. WAU team's Benjamim Nunes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jerônimo Magalhães in the 11th minute of play. Paulo Paiva made in the 14th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Silveira's Baltazar Hermes. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jerônimo Magalhães in the 18th minute of play forced WAU team's goalkeeper Benjamim Nunes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Silveira were awarded a corner in the 20th minute after WAU team's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Beto Carvalho took the corner. Silveira's Luís Fernando Leme was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Benjamim Nunes in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. 22 minutes into the match, Silveira's goal looked a bit too open when Luiz Fernando de Toledo came free, but Dalmo Domingues reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. WAU team's Benjamim Nunes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jerônimo Magalhães in the 24th minute of play. In the 24th minute Jerônimo Magalhães shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benjamim Nunes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Jerônimo Magalhães had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 27th minute, Renan Fantini hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Diamantino Freitas fell near the penalty area in the 28th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored WAU team's protests and gave Diamantino Freitas a yellow card for diving instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Beto Carvalho in the 31st minute of play forced WAU team's goalkeeper Benjamim Nunes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 37 minutes of play, Silveira's Jerônimo Magalhães made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Benjamim Nunes was left in no man's land by his defense there! After 48 minutes WAU team's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Beto Carvalho who took care of the corner kick. A nice corner shot did that Beto Carvalho got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Benjamim Nunes quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. In the game's 48th minute Silveira's Beto Carvalho took a hard shot from long distance, a kick which went into the net just to the right of Benjamim Nunes and thus the score was 0-2. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Renan Fantini kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. Benjamim Nunes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jerônimo Magalhães in the 58th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jerônimo Magalhães in the 61st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Benjamim Nunes saved WAU team from getting behind. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jerônimo Magalhães in the 61st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Benjamim Nunes prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 68 minutes WAU team's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Beto Carvalho who took care of the corner kick. Silveira's Beto Carvalho was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Benjamim Nunes in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. In the 69th minute, Fernandão Lopes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After recieving a nice pass, Silveira's Beto Carvalho tried to score from far away in the 69th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. 72 minutes into the match, WAU team's goal looked a bit too open when Jerônimo Magalhães came free, but Benjamim Nunes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A sloppy throw-in by Luís Fernando Leme in the 74th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by WAU team's Abel Prado. Dalmo Domingues showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Paulo Paiva in the 75th minute of the match. WAU team's Benjamim Nunes proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 77th minute of the match, managed to save WAU team from getting a goal against them. Dalmo Domingues stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Luiz Fernando de Toledo's shot from short distance in the 80th minute. Jerônimo Magalhães fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Benjamim Nunes having to interfere. After 94 played minutes Silveira got a freekick which was hit by Nico Fernandes. Dalmo Domingues showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luiz Fernando de Toledo, who was totally free with the ball in the 97th minute. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Silveira had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
