An unexpectedly hard shot by Pavel Hojbota in the 34th minute of play forced JFSP's goalkeeper Yusuf Muslera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Pavel Hojbota in the 39th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Yusuf Muslera prevented the ball from getting in the gole. A collision led to JFSP getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Juanfran Gentenaar hit a great ball. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Cauan Rosa to strike the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in JFSP's zone, Cauan Rosa stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Yusuf Muslera came out of the goal and Cauan Rosa tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Lauro Mangueira showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edinson Gentenaar, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. 56 minutes into the match, Pavel Hojbota had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Yusuf Muslera. JFSP's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Pavel Hojbota was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. A collision led to JFSP getting a freekick after 59 minutes play. Henrique Teixeira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lauro Mangueira having to interfere. 74 minutes into the match, JFSP's goalkeeper Yusuf Muslera had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Caetano Heidemann. The corner ended in Pedro Bomba almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but JFSP's Yusuf Muslera did a great save. In the 79th minute of the match, Pavel Hojbota got a very nice opportunity to score, but Yusuf Muslera was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post.
